用以治療開角型青光眼、高眼壓癥以及防治眼前節激光手術后的眼壓升高。與其他降眼壓藥物聯合應用有加強作用。單獨使用本品降眼壓幅度達20.2%，聯合用藥眼壓進一步下降16.9%。本品和聯合應用的降眼壓效果比與多佐胺和聯合應用強，而不及拉坦前列腺素和聯合應用的效果。
